Sequenza VIII

In this new fiber art collection, threads become a metaphor for the code of life. Each work depicts a DNA helix that is elongated, intertwined, and distorted: visual symbols that evoke the fluidity and complexity of biological identity.

Each Sequenza (Sequence) is a sensitive map, in which the helix stretches, bends, and twists just as life does when it encounters the winds of the environment, of love, and of pain. It is an invitation to view our biological heritage not as destiny, but as a story in constant dialogue with the world. Through the language of textiles, complex scientific concepts are transformed into tactile and poetic forms in which the colors and distortions of the helix reveal the possibilities of change and adaptation.

The result is a visual narrative in which biology and art intertwine, inviting the viewer to reflect on the relationship between genetic destiny, environment, and personal identity.
