Innesti - South-facing, framed textile diptych

INNESTI, my latest series of artworks, is
deeply inspired by the Mediterranean
landscapes of Northern Italy, particularly its
coastal towns and vibrant urban
environments, from the iconic houses of
Venice to the picturesque villages of the
Cinque Terre.

Beyond their vivid colours ad unexpected
combinations, these places inspired me
through the interlocking shapes and
geometric patterns of their architecture,
where houses seem to fit together in a
perfect composition of volumes, lines and
textures.
